John Rennie High School is part of Lester B. Pearson school board and is located in Pointe-Claire. Mr.
Our high school opened in 1955 and was named in memory of the Honourable John Rennie, member of the Legislative Assembly. Rennie was instrumental in persuading the government of Premier Duplessis to provide the funds to build a badly needed school in Pointe Claire. Families of the era were forced to send their youngsters as far away as Montreal West in order to pursue secondary studies. John Renni

Tonight we celebrated the Class of 2026 at our Prom - a river cruise on the St Lawrence. What's becoming a JRHS tradition is seeing off this amazing group of students in style. Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We will miss you, but the future is bright in your hands!

Yesterday we celebrated the Academic Success of hundreds of our Grade 7, 8, 9, and 10 students. These students showed outstanding academic rigour, exceptional effort, overcame adversity to succeed in their studies as well as being role models to change the world to be a better place.
No matter the award, we're exceptionally proud of these students and their accomplishments this year.
We wish everyone the very best of luck in their exams.
We caught up with Ann Marie & Rebecca to learn a little about their involvement in the Central Student Committee at the Lester B Pearson School Board. Rebecca will be co-chair of the committee next year, which is an amazing accomplishment!

On Saturday, June 6, our students enjoyed an exciting outing to Oasis Surf, led by M. Espérance, Ms. Patterson, and Ms. Breck. Despite the rainy weather, students embraced the adventure, showing confidence, enthusiasm, and impressive surfing skills while supporting one another and making lasting memories. It was a fun and memorable way to celebrate the end of the school year before exam season begins.We look forward to sharing more memorable adventures with your children in the future.

This afternoon our Grade 11's congregated in the Great Hall at the end of the day for their last bell of High School. A traditional that each graduating class takes part in at JRHS.
