Jamie is a Saint-Thomas alumna and Brittany is a John Rennie alumna, and they have been best friends since they met at Saint-Anthony’s Elementary School, making them LBPSB alumni of 3 schools!

Our evening’s host, the Honorable Marlene Jennings, will lead us through an exploration of the Black contributions to the history of Quebec for over five centuries. Guest Speakers Dr. Dorothy Williams, PhD, of Concordia University, and Mr. Linton Garner, Marketing and Sales Director of blacbiblio.com, will offer simultaneous presentations on the ABC’s of Canadian Black History Kit / La trousse de l’ABC de l’histoire des Noirs du Canada.

This week on the LBPSB wall of fame🏆, we present Paisley Nyberg, a proud St. Thomas alumni who now works as a business strategist for a Montreal design agency.

"My years at St. Thomas were nothing short of amazing🌟. Between the friends lifetime friends I made, the teachers believed in me, and the school spirit within the student body, it’s the people who made my St. Thomas experience so incredible.

I’ll never forget the Physics 🧲 and Chemistry study sessions, the variety shows, and the multitude of grad events that made students feel so appreciated☺️. At the time, my father was a teacher at St. Thomas, and he called out my name and handed me my graduation diploma at convocation. That is one of our most special moments and I’m so thankful I was able to end my incredible high school experience with such fond memories."
