CFER Ouest

CFER Ouest A CFER program consists of three basic components. A CFER also has a business component which is run as a business. What is recycled varies from CFER to CFER.

Classroom work is focused on developing functional skills in Language Arts, Mathematics and Social Studies again with the goal of promoting autonomy, engagement and productivity. It is incorporated as not-for-profit entity and operates as any other business would, with real world contracts, production schedules, safety regulations, etc. All CFER businesses are built around some form of recycling. Some CFER’s recycle paint, others recycle building materials, others recycle rope and so forth. CFER Ouest Inc is building its project on the recycling of electronic waste. The third component of CFER is the “Caravan” which is an environmental awareness project in which CFER students visit elementary schools and businesses to share issues and raise awareness on the question of the environment and recycling.

We're celebrating 70 years of John Rennie High School 🥳 this weekend! We're excited to welcome our alumni, former staff, and community to explore our school and learn more about the history of JRHS.

We have a page dedicated to the day on our website, and we're inviting all the 18+ to join us for a dance in the Terry Fox gym in the evening.

We can't wait to see you! Saturday 19th September @ 10am.
