Creativity, Inclusivity and Belonging ✨️

Last week, Literacy Unlimited Ambassadors Liz MacRae and Leslie Carr attended the Maison WILOH vernissage at Victor Rose in Pointe-Claire.

The event is a collaborative exhibition by artist Peter Hart and the artists of Maison WILOH (West Island Life Oasis Home).

"Through expressive works created by artists with diverse abilities, this collection highlights the power of art to share experiences, inspire connection and bring our community together."

This very special exhibit will be displayed at Victor Rose Cafe until the end of August.

The West Island Mission recently had their special back-to-school event and once again, Literacy Unlimited was on hand to gift each child new English books.

Thank you Suzanne, Sandra and the whole West Island Mission team for creating such a special day once again. We are so happy to be part of it.

Children got to choose their new backpacks, new shoes, school supplies and then were treated to a delicious BBQ. There were even new bicycles donated.
