CANADIAN NATIONAL SOARING COMPITION
SOSA Gliding Club is hosting the Canadian Nationals at the Rockton Aerodrome from 29 July - 7 August 2026. Official practice days are scheduled on 27 and 28 July.

GGC has two (2) members partiicipating, good luck Mike and Ian! (3Aug26)

Wall of smoke - July 12, 2026. Photo from NW of a "wall of smoke" from distant wildfires approaching Pendleton from Quebec, as seen from the club's ASW 20. Later that day, and into the following week, the whole Ottawa area was blanketed by smoke that turned the sunlight orange.
