OWN YOUR BIRTH SPACE
Your birth space should align with your dreams not your medical provider.
Depending on where you live you can birth at:
-Your Home
-A Birth Center
-Your local Hospital
Just like choosing who your medical provider is whether it is a Midwife or OB GYN you can choose the setting of your birth.
🧬Follow your Instincts and think of where you will feel safe, comfortable, and private as birth is an intimate and vulnerable time where you want to feel as supported as possible.
🔎Do the Research. Look into the Pros and Cons of each place and find what works for your. If you want to birth where medical technology is quick and available, look into a birth center or a hospital that will support your rights as the mother so you can still have the birth you want without worrying about worst case scenarios.
👍🏼Find your ideal Birth Team. This goes from your medical provider, nurses, partner, doula, and anyone else you have welcomed into your space. This is YOUR birth, and YOU get to call the shots. (granted there are no emergency reasons)
