✨ WEEK 3 IN THE BOOKS! ✨

What an amazing week of dance!

Everyone is really starting to get into the groove of their classes and our dancers are working so hard!

But one of our favourite things to see is the bonds and friendships already developing. The encouragement, the laughs, the little moments between classes…and those smiles really do say it all!

We are officially heading into October, and I’m so excited to see what we accomplish together this month. 🍂

Keep working hard, keep cheering each other on, and most importantly…keep having FUN!

✨ MEET MISS DANIKA! ✨

It’s time to introduce our last amazing Season 35 Class Assistant — Miss Danika!

Miss Danika has been dancing for 12 years and although university has taken her away from our Senior Competitive Team, she hasn’t hung up her dance shoes just yet! She’s still dancing with us in Adult Tap and sharing her experience with our younger dancers as a Class Assistant.

Tap — no surprise there! 😉

💜 What do you love most about being a Class Assistant?
“I love helping the students grow and develop a love for dance.”

🎶 Favourite artist/song to dance to:
She doesn’t have a favourite — she’s happy dancing to all kinds of music!

✨ Fun fact:
Miss Danika is currently in her second year of university!

We love that even as life changes and our dancers grow up, they can continue to be part of the Dance Sensations family in new ways. After 12 years of dance, Miss Danika has so much experience to share, and we love having her back in the studio helping the next generation of DS dancers grow, learn and fall in love with dance too. 💜

✨ MEET MISS HUNTER! ✨

It’s time to introduce another one of our amazing Season 35 Class Assistants — Miss Hunter!

Miss Hunter has been dancing for around 11 years and is a member of our Senior Competitive Team. Here are a few fun things to help you get to know her!

Lyrical & Hip Hop

❤️ What do you love most about being a Class Assistant?
“I love being able to watch all of the littles grow from Pre Beginner into Juniors and see how much they improve along the way.”

🎶 Favourite artist to dance to:
Right now, it’s Noah Kahan! Miss Hunter would love to dance her lyrical solo to Willing and Able this season.

✨ Fun fact:
Just like Miss Haven, Miss Hunter doesn’t have a middle name!

🌟 What are you most excited about for Season 35?
“I’m really excited to see what Miss Desiré and Miss Cara come up with for our choreography, and I’m very excited to have Eddy teaching our Hip Hop classes!”

One of the things we love most about having our Senior dancers as Class Assistants is that they get to be part of our younger dancers’ journeys. Miss Hunter has had the chance to watch some of our littles grow from their very first Pre Beginner classes into confident young dancers — and that’s pretty special. 💜

✨ MEET OUR SEASON 35 CLASS ASSISTANTS! ✨

We are so excited to introduce the amazing dancers stepping into leadership roles as Class Assistants this season!

Please meet Miss Brynlee, Miss Camryn, Miss Danika, Miss Haven, Miss Hunter & Miss Rachel!

These ladies are part of our Senior Competitive Team and have grown up in the Dance Sensations family. Now they get the opportunity to share their experience, love of dance and positive energy with our younger dancers.

Our Class Assistants are such a valuable part of our studio. They work alongside our instructors, help our younger dancers learn and grow, encourage them when they need a little extra confidence boost and, most importantly, become wonderful role models for the next generation of DS dancers.

We are so excited to have these six young ladies helping in our classrooms for Season 35!

💕 Now get ready to MEET our Class Assistants! Over the next little while, we’ll be introducing them one at a time so you can learn a little more about each of these amazing young ladies — their favourite styles of dance, what they love about assisting, some fun facts and what they’re most excited about this season!

WEEK 2 IN THE BOOKS!

And what a week it was! 💜

We were SO excited to have Eddy in for Senior Hip Hop this year! He brings so much energy to the studio, and we can’t wait to see what he and our Seniors create this season! 🔥

Our Beginners & Pre Juniors are working so hard, learning how their classes flow, and working in new steps and already gaining confidence each week.

Our Juniors & Intermediates are on FIRE 🔥 working hard on new steps, combinations and technique. We are already seeing so much growth!

And our Seniors have been putting in the WORK — focusing on strength, conditioning and really honing in on their technique.

Two weeks down and we are just getting started!

So proud of all of our dancers and the energy they’re bringing into the studio.

We can’t wait to see what Week 3 brings! 💜

We have some VERY exciting news to celebrate in our DS Family!

A huge congratulations to Miss Cara on her engagement! 🥂

Miss Cara, we am beyond happy for you! You have been such a special part of Dance Sensations and our DS Family for so many years, and it means so much to be able to celebrate these big life moments right along with you. 🥰

We have watched you grow from a dancer, to a teacher, to such an important part of our studio…and now we get to watch you step into this exciting new chapter too! 💕

Wishing you and Branden so much love and happiness as you plan your future together. I know there are so many wonderful memories ahead for both of you.
