Mrs. Grundner and the Grade 2 students would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mrs. Shirley Dyck for leading the children on a fascinating walk through the past. Along the way, the students learned about the history of their community and how it has changed over time. This hands-on experience brought local history to life and helped the children develop a deeper appreciation for their community. It was a
wonderful and memorable learning experience for all.

We are so proud of these three incredible young women.
They showed up for practises before and after school, in the rain, and when they had other commitments before and after they trained with us.
They were positive EVERY SINGLE DAY!
They helped coach the younger athletes.
They led by example not only with their athletic ability, but with their attitudes and dedication.
This will be a season we will remember for a very long time, because of these three.

Rumer had a great meet!
She finished out our Championships with a personal best of over 2 meters in Intermediate Girls' Javelin and won the bronze medal.
We are so proud of how hard she worked and how well she handled her nerves this weekend.

Our third event of the weekend wrapped up with Georgia throwing well but not quite advancing to the final this year. Her fabulous attitude was evident throughout the competition.

Our second event has finished and Jill did really well at her first Championships. She moved up three places from where she was ranked and was pretty close to her personal best. We are so proud of how she stayed focused to throw her best in her final attempt. Way to go, Jill!
