What an exciting announcement!

On behalf of the Bee Hive Child Care Center Board of Directors, our educators, volunteers and families, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped make this vision a reality.

Here in Picture Butte, families have been asking for more child care spaces—and today’s announcement is an important step toward meeting that need. It means more children will have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive right here in their own community. You heard us, you saw the need, and you responded!

This project is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together through collaboration and a shared vision.

We are incredibly grateful to the YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) for its leadership and investment in this pilot project, and to the Government of Canada for its continued support of affordable child care.

We thank Mayor Moore, Town Council, CAO Keith Davis, and the Town of Picture Butte for believing in this vision, supporting our centre, and helping move this project forward.

We are also so grateful to Global Builds, Prime Build 360, Pretium, and all of the consultants, designers, trades and construction professionals who are helping bring this project to life.

And most importantly, thank you to the families who place their trust in us every day. ❤️

Today, we are celebrating a new centre—but what we are really celebrating is an investment in children, families and the future of Picture Butte.

We are so excited for what’s ahead! 🐝💛

What an incredible day! ❤️⛳

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Friends of the Picture Butte Bee Hive Society for their hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent planning and preparing for such an amazing and successful first golf tournament. Your effort, commitment, and passion made this event possible, and we cannot thank you enough for everything you did behind the scenes to bring it all together.

A special thank you as well to all of our amazing sponsors, participants, volunteers, donors, and everyone who attended. The overwhelming outpouring of love and support from our community and surrounding areas was truly incredible and a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in such a caring and generous community.

Without the support of our volunteers and the Friends of the Picture Butte Bee Hive Society, this event would not have been possible. Your willingness to give your time and talents has made a lasting impact on our daycare and the families we serve.
