PHOTO STORIES - Happiest when she's driving through the back roads of anywhere with her camera waiting next to her on the front seat, fine art photographer Tara Wilkinson tells us about the day she captured this image titled LEVIS BLUES:

"I was driving along County Road 15 across the top of Prince Edward County scanning my surroundings looking for the next great shot when suddenly I saw this colourful blue barn. I then spotted this adorable donkey poking his head out and almost drove off the road. I pulled over, grabbed my gear and quickly headed back - half expecting him to have retreated back into the barn. To my utter thrill - he was still there. I quietly set up and began gently speaking to him - not getting too close as I didn't want to spook him. My heart was beating fast - I didn't know how much time I would have to capture him before I lost him to the darkness. He stayed for a long while ... and I swear ... he seemed to understand everything I was saying ... and posing for me!
