The year 2020 will definitely be remembered for being unprecedented, but also for the countless actions that demanded the best of humanity!

At Eh To Zed Preschool Canada the term "TOGETHER" means, from the infants we care for through all levels of our organization.

COVID-19 caught the world off guard and yet, our franchisees stood up to the challenge not once giving in. This was demonstrated by our Aurora Campus. The team were quick to react, by opening the site, during the emergency care program. They were able to support our local heroes, who as we all know worked endlessly on the front lines, to protect their community.

As Ontario moves into Phase 3, my leadership team and I have been behind the scenes working tirelessly, on possible support programs to offer our members.

We understand the past 6 months have taken a financial toll on our members, franchisees and the members of the communities across Ontario.

It's at times of peril that we become humble and appreciate the privilege of being Canadian and living in a great country as Canada!

As CEO & Founder, I am thankful to all our members, franchisees and especially our EDUCATORS on the front lines! As a father of four children, I understand the importance of childcare to the economy and being able to re-open responsibly. I also recognize the struggle of childcare costs, especially as lockdown restrictions ease across the board.

That is why I’m excited to announce,

"THE TOGETHERNESS PROGRAM!"

The program is specifically designed to support you; our amazing members and families!

An allocation fund of $18,000.00 in corporate credits, will be applied across all our sites based on the need of each site.

We strive to demonstrate the qualities of what it is to be Canadian, by doing what we can in terms of supporting each of you, to the best of our abilities.

UPDATE

Eh To Zed Preschool Canada Reopening Plan!

We all want our daycares to re-open. Yet we want to do so responsibly and without haste. Our centres are not retail stores.
Therefore we are committed to taking the proper time to prepare and train our staff.

This week with only three days notice, the Premier along with the Minister of Education, announced daycares in Ontario could open on Friday, June 12 with “some restrictions.”

Dedicated hard work has and continues to take place, when creating a meaningful, well-researched plan to safely reopen our facilities for our children. Health and Safe remains our number 1 priority.

Eh To Zed PSC training begins the week of June 15th - 26th for all management, educators and support staff.

We know that parents are depending on us. When we made the tough call to proactively close three months ago, we knew it meant putting over 600 families in a childcare bind and laying off all our staff with virtually no notice.

There are many families at our daycare who rely on child care in order to return to work.

The longer they have zero access to safe daycare, the longer they are unable to work. That translates into them being unable to afford groceries or pay rent. There is much that is depending on us reopening and even more importance on us doing it right.
