ts for approx. 12 years, working in the Band Department. My husband Garry currently runs Gazebo Music www.gazebo-music.ca, where he repairs Musical Instruments i.e. Saxophones, Clarinets, flutes etc. I have thought about teaching piano lessons for a long time and I love children and being with them (I have 2 fantastic girls of my own) so after hearing about MYC, I decided to look into it further. I know of many different approaches to the teaching of Music and Piano and I see why MYC is so exciting and different from any other approach I have heard about. I am thrilled with their curriculum! The focus truly is on the children and how they learn music, each group being age specific and researched to the highest degree so that each child has a well rounded and happy experience exploring the world of music. This approach if they stick with it, will serve them well as they grow, a strong foundation that helps to build confidence and self-esteem in many ways, not just Music!! This is a plus for hard working parents and their very tight shedules!! and they get to learn music with their kids!!
