Scientists in School Scientists in School is a leading Canadian charity dedicated to sparking children's interest in STEM.

At the heart of Scientists in School's work are our award-winning, inquiry-based workshops for Kindergarten through Grade 8 students. With Scientists in School, students become scientists in their school and are able to see, touch and do science using specialized equipment and materials, all under the guidance of real science experts from their communities.

Our properties of matter workshop Finding Solutions! explores everything that goes into making an earth-friendly bath product.

Students join an imaginary start-up with a product idea and a goal. Through science savvy investigations and precise hands-on fabrication, students put scientific principles to good use. Plus, they get to take home their creation!

Finding Solutions is available online across Canada for the following grade levels:
Grades 6 and 7 in BC, Northwest Territories, and Yukon, Grade 9 in Alberta, Cycle 1 secondary in Quebec, and Grade 7 everywhere else.

Our life cycle workshop, Cycling Through Life, takes grade 2s through each life stage with STEM activities they can explore with their own senses. https://scientistsinschool.ca/life-cycle-science-for-grade-2-kids/
