Thanks to The City of Pickering’s Environmental Schools Grant, our school community is enjoying the beauty and environmental benefits of our two newly installed flower beds. Thank you to members of our School Community Council for all of their efforts with planning and providing support and expertise for this project. Our new flower garden beds are an invaluable tool supporting the real life learning experiences of our school community.

From Nov.24-Dec.5 our student leaders are running a food drive and hat & mittens collection for St.Paul’s on the Hill Food Bank. Let’s come together as a community to show our support for our local community! Bring your food and Hats and mittens!

We have partnered with wegrowfood.org to install 2 garden beds to promote edible gardens that our eco club will be managing to grow edible vegetation. They already started practicing growing indoors with their training session this week. So if you’re passing by the garden beds, we’ll see things happening in the spring! Thanks WeGrowFood!
