The Trent Graduate Students’ Association (TGSA) acts on behalf of all graduate students enrolled at Trent University.
The Trent Graduate Students’ Association (TGSA) is a non-profit, student-run organization that represents the 700+ students enrolled in graduate programs at Trent University Symons and Durham campus. The TGSA represents, promotes and advocates for our members’ academic, political, social, and cultural interests. Our executive team and the Board of Directors, who are elected by the general membersh
ip, administer the society to provide financial support, political advocacy, resources, and social events with the aim of connecting graduate students across campus with each other, the university, and the government. We achieve this by establishing and maintaining communication with Trent University administration, faculty, staff, and undergraduate students, as well as organizations outside of the Trent community. The TGSA is committed to improving our association and creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all graduate students. Your backgrounds, cultures, and values enrich our student body and we strive to create a sense of belonging for each student in our close-knit community. The TGSA also recognizes that students are complex beings. As such, we wholeheartedly support the positive mental health and overall well-being of students. Please find a list of mental health resources under our website’s Service tab. Your feedback and suggestions on ways to improve our services to you will be highly appreciated. Please feel free to scroll through our website to learn more about our team, the services we provide and our advocacy and feedback forms.
