There's nothing better than finding something you love and being able to do it for a living. graduated a few months ago and is out there killing it at her first welding job. The welding world is an exciting trade, but what has been the most exciting thing to happen over the years is seeing more females getting into the welding trade.

If you've graduated from Canadian Welding Skills you've held this trophy with pride. Yesterday our Graduation Trophy received a little upgrade. Originally made by the late and upgraded by . This trophy has been around since 2016 and has seen a lot of great careers startand we look forward to many more in the years to come.

Garrison first came to us a few years back. He had already been in the welding trade for a while, but wanted to get some more skills and better opportunities. He put so much work into his craft and never gave up along the way, even though there were road blocks along the way. We are so proud of all his accomplishments. He is now an apprentice welder and making his way to the top. Never stop learning and pushing yourselves. Congratulations on all your hard work.

It's going to be a hot week of training at C.W.S. These students work through the heat with no air conditioning. They are the future trades people that will help keep your house cool, lights on, water flowing to your house and will all help to keep Ontario and Canada's infrastructure going rain or shine. Always remember to thank a trades person when you see one working hard.

The loss of someone is never easy but to see a young person with so much talent gone is even harder. Kieran's dedication to his trade and the people around him shine whenever he touched a piece of metal or took the time to talk to someone or give them some advice. He will be missed by all of us. We will miss you forever.

No words can express how happy we were on this day to see these three men graduate together. Kieran's loss will never be forgotten. The welding word has lost an amazing welding and a true professional person who took much pride in his work.

At Canadian Welding Skills we are always excited to find out what our past students are doing and we just received some exciting news again about one of our students.

Erin Tite attended Canadian Welding Skills in 2016, while attending she was at the top of her class and graduated with honors. After graduating she worked in the field for a while, got some great experience but decided it was time for a new challenge in life. She decided to attend Northern College to take the Welding Engineering Program. Once again she found herself at the top of her class and she graduated with honors. She then went on to work with Lincoln Electric in Toronto as a Weld Technician and now works for Brouco NDT as a Welding Inspector and does welding audits as well.

We always say at Canadian Welding Skills that the welding world is filled with different opportunities and you never know where it can take you and Erin is a great example of that.

Congratulations on all your hard work and look forward to seeing you in the future.
