📢 Happening Tonight!
Join us for an evening of reflection, learning, and conversation as we mark 10 years since Peterborough became a Welcome Centre for Government-Assisted Refugees (GARs).
Through a short film and panel discussion, we'll explore the stories, experiences, and lessons learned over the past decade, while discussing what is needed to continue supporting refugees and newcomers to Canada.
This is an opportunity to hear from community voices, learn more about the refugee experience, and reflect on the role we all play in building a welcoming community.
📍 Tonight at the Library in the FOL Community Room
⏰ 6:00 - 8:00 pm
We hope you'll join us. Register with the NCC!
🗣️ This World Refugee Day, we're coming together to reflect, listen, and learn. Join us for a panel discussion reflecting on 10 years of refugee support in Peterborough, and what it takes to keep building a welcoming community. 💛
