✨ Staff Spotlight: Heather – Hastings County Home Visitor ✨

Heather has been a valued member of the Wee Watch team since November 2022, supporting our Northumberland & Hastings County home child care providers with care, consistency, and professionalism.

As a Home Visitor, Heather plays a key role in building strong, trusting relationships with providers, ensuring they are supported in following policies and procedures, and helping maintain safe, high-quality home child care environments. She brings a calm, supportive presence to every visit and is always ready to offer guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions when needed.

When she’s not out in the field visiting providers, you’ll often find Heather in the office developing helpful resources and tools that strengthen our programs and support our teams behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Heather is a dedicated mom who loves staying active in her son’s life. Whether she’s cheering him on at sports or enjoying everyday moments together, she brings that same warmth and commitment to her family that she brings to her role at Wee Watch.

She thoughtfully plans fun, engaging activities that support all areas of development, from hands-on sensory play to imaginative experiences that spark curiosity and joy. Each day is filled with opportunities for children to explore, discover, and build new skills in a supportive environment.

Her caring nature, combined with her passion for learning through play, makes her program a place where children truly thrive.

Melissa’s commitment does not go unnoticed. She gives so much of herself everyday, showing up consistently and wholeheartedly for the children in her care. She thrives in outdoor environments and creates beautiful learning moments through sensory play- whether it’s digging in the sand, splashing in the water, or turning windows into canvases. The children are so lucky to learn and grow in such a nurturing, creative space.

🍀Tiffany’s group is exploring a festive sensory bin filled with colourful bow tie pasta and gold coins. Working on their fine motor skills creating a dot sticker rainbow! 🌈

This month, Gina will be celebrating her one-year anniversary with our agency! 🎉

In just twelve months, Gina has shown dedication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early learning. The care and consistency she brings to her program make a meaningful difference for the children and families she supports.
