FPHL takes on the Peterborough Folk Festival 2026!🌾🌻🌞
This year we had the pleasure of having a booth, hosting workshops and holding space to learn about our medicines, pow wow dance styles, and create your own beaded keychain! We are grateful to our wonderful staff for sharing their gifts, and to the Folk Festival for inviting us to collaborate on these events. This weekend was such a success, we look forward to seeing you all next year! 🌼

Looking for some fun under the sun? Well come join FPHL in making some midday mocktails next Wednesday at 12 pm in the GC Quad! We will have three options on our mocktail menu and some very fun yard games. Bring a friend and get ready to sip and socialize in the sun! ☀️

Enjoy some time in the strawberry fields and pick a basket of fresh berries to take home with you, on us! We will be meeting at McLean Berry Farm located at 2191 16 Line, in Lakefield, at 9 am on Tuesday June 23rd.

Come pick one basket to take home and one basket for FPHL events (like the Strawberry Social on the 24th ☺️🍓). We will return to the Gzowski kitchen after picking to prep and process the berries.

We hope to see you there! ⭐️🍓

June 6th marks Blue Jean Jacket Day, a national day of awareness for Murdered, missing and exploited Indigenous men and boys. Today we wear our jean jackets to bring awareness to an often overlooked crisis and honour all those who have been impacted.
