Art Retreat September 10 - 15, 2022
In just over one month, the opportunity to book a space in my Killarney art retreat closes.
This trip exposes you to Canada's "Near North". Sheer cliffs, rock faces, northern forest and sparkling water. We have a number of cabins for artists. This is a Group of Seven experience. In this retreat, all painting locations are reached by a sturdy pontoon boat.

I have been chosen to be one of the competitors in the Plein Air Easton art festival. Out of the huge number of artists who apply to get in the competition, only 50 are chosen. I'm quite pleased to be one of the select few.
Plein Air Easton happens in Easton, Maryland every July. It's the biggest and most prestigious plein air competition in the US, which might make it the most important in the world.

Killarney / La Cloche Mountains, September 10 - 15, 2022
This trip exposes you to the "Near North", sheer cliffs, rock faces, northern forest and sparkling water. We have a number of cabins for artists. This is our most popular retreat each year.

A Group of Seven plein air experience. In this retreat, all painting locations are reached by a sturdy pontoon boat.

I demo using acrylics, however, I bring my oil kit with me in case there are questions about oil. If it rains heavily, we stay in camp and paint from our enclosed porches. Whenever you paint in camp, you must cover all surfaces and clean up any marks you accidentally make as soon as they happen.

Online Art Sessions with Keith Thirgood, January 13 through March 3, 2022
These sessions are largely self-directed. For most of the sessions, each artist works on their own projects, which we review and discuss as a group on Zoom every Thursday evening.

Relatively new plus more advanced artists will find the sessions productive. Artists can work on a single project for the entire time of the sessions, or as many as a couple of paintings each week. although only one project will be discussed during the zoom sessions.
