If the government wants to improve student achievement, it should focus on what students actually need:
✔️ Qualified teachers and education workers
✔️ Timely supports
✔️ Safe schools
✔️ Smaller class sizes
✔️ Professional expertise in the classroom
Student success is not built through increased screen time or one-size-fits-all provincial templates.
Students succeed when they have access to the supports, staffing, and learning conditions that help them thrive. Technology can be a useful tool, but it cannot replace the relationships, supports, and professional judgment that drive student success.

Observed annually on June 21, this is a day to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. It coincides with the summer solstice, a day of deep spiritual and cultural significance for many Indigenous communities, marking renewal and the longest day of the year. Communities across the country host cultural festivals, traditional ceremonies, and community feasts.
