SACRAMENT PREPARATION 2026/27
Registration is now open for the preparation of the Sacraments of First Reconciliation/First Holy Communion and Confirmation at St. Alphonsus church. Please click the link below and pick the appropriate sacrament to register and find the schedule beginning this fall.

🎒 Start Strong at PVNC Catholic!

Heading into secondary school? Start the year with the skills, strategies and confidence you need for a strong start! 💪📚

Strong Start is designed for students entering secondary school and is also appropriate for some returning students looking for support as they transition back to school after the summer.

Students will work together with school social workers, educators and EAs to develop skills, strategies and supports to help build success from the beginning of the school year.

Congratulations to our Gr. 3 & 4 Math team that was awarded the gold medal at the recent PVNC Catholic Math Olympics competition. They beat out more than 20+ different teams to secure first place. A huge thank you to all of the staff working with students to hone and develop their skills!

Congratulations to Emily Clarke who was the 2026 winner of the Catholic student leadership award at St. Alphonsus. She was recognized during Catholic Education week, along with winners from all PNC Catholic elementary and secondary schools, at an awards ceremony at Holy Cross secondary school! She is an amazing young woman and we are proud of her effort, accomplishments and leadership to make our school a better place.
