I am SO excited to be partnering with storytelling artist (and Nest parent) Peyton Le Barr to offer a NEW group for parents of infants and toddlers. Join us as we explore how to apply key Montessori principles to your parenting journey, while learning to tap into your own intuition and values.

Hi friends! I have been quiet on Instagram lately (I actually deleted the app for the month of January, to see what life was like without it…it was nice) but I’m back, and I wanted to share that I’ve started a newsletter on Substack! Notes From the Nest is part personal journal, part inspiration, and (hopefully) part community for early childhood educators, Montessori guides, or anyone who spends their days with young children. Please check it out and subscribe (for free, with an option to support my work if you want! But seriously, I would just love for you to check it out).

I will still be posting on Instagram, but I started the Notes From the Nest newsletter because I often have more to say than what can be properly expressed in short, clippy reels and 24-hour stories. Montessori, and my work with young children, means a lot to me, and as Instagram’s priorities and algorithms have evolved, I often feel like this platform isn’t the best fit for me anymore. So, I’ll still be here to share snippets of our days on occasion, but for a deeper dive and more consistent content, come join me at Notes From the Nest on Substack!! We celebrated three super special graduates today ❤️.

I am so proud of these incredible children who I have had the profound privilege of having at The Nest for the past couple years. There are a million things I love about being a toddler teacher, but my favourite thing of all is getting to know these amazing children as they go from brand-new, barely toddling toddlers, to confident, strong “big kids” who are ready for bigger adventures. They are capable of anything!

And so ends another wonderful year. Happy summer, everyone! ☀️

✨New Nestlings Group!! Registration is open now!✨

I am so excited to be offering another Nestlings group, starting September 14! Nestlings is a weekly gathering for caregivers and their babies, age 2-12 months old. I absolutely love this group and look forward to it every week! 💙

The Nestlings group is a relaxed and inviting place for parents to connect while spending time with their little one in a peaceful, baby-centred environment. Always positive and supportive, Nestlings is facilitated by a Montessori Infant/Toddler guide (that’s me! 😉) and gives parents the opportunity to learn more about the Montessori philosophy, gentle parenting strategies, and the simple and subtle ways we can make parenting a joyful and rewarding experience.

The Nestlings group runs for 6 weeks, and meets on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:00, starting September 14. Registration is open now! Link in bio.
