We swam our way out of Pirates and Mermaids Week with great speed 🧜‍♀️🧜🧜‍♂️ A big highlight of the week was spending time in the fort! It was a nice relief when it was 🔥 hot outside or pouring 🌧

Week 1 of Kidventure Camp has ROARed by! The children enjoyed dinosaur-themed crafts and games and cooled off at the splashpad in the afternoons.

Camp spaces are fully-booked for this and next week 👏👏👏 but we still have some spots for the full week and day camps.

In May, the lovely Rev. Julie van Haaften at St. James United Church celebrated her 25th year of ordination and her 15th anniversary at St. James. In lieu of gifts, she asked that contributions be made to support children attending Kidventure camp ❤️ We have been able to offer some camp subsidies because of this generous gift.

Our camp runs out of St. James United Church which gives us great access to the shady green space 🌳 and splashpad 💦 at King Edward Park

Do you need support for camp fees? The City of Peterborough provides a Recreation Program subsidy ranging between $100 and $200 that you can apply towards camp fees 🙌

With our camp fee at $175/week, your child may be subsidized for 1 full week at Kidventure Camp! 😀

Check out the form here - we hear that the process is fairly straightforward and you hear back quite quickly!
