After a lot of reflection and careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision that we will not be running summer camp this year.
This was not an easy choice...because this space, these children, and this community mean everything to me. But one thing I will never compromise on is the quality, safety, and experience we provide.
At the heart of our program is a team of passionate, capable, and aligned educators who truly understand the vision. This year, despite our efforts, we were unable to secure the level of qualified staffing needed to deliver the kind of experience your children deserve and honestly I won’t settle for anything less.
Our standard is high for a reason. It’s what makes the Gritty Classroom special. It’s what keeps your children safe, inspired, and thriving.
While I’m disappointed, I am also incredibly committed to doing this right, not just doing it.
Thank you for your continued support, trust, and understanding. We’ll be back stronger, with the right team in place, ready to create something truly exceptional again!

Scavenger hunts, exploring skulls/bones, catching crayfish, whittling, learning some French and meeting our youngest camper yet! First 3 sessions have been so much fun!
