Let's go FLY A KITE!!
Thrust, lift, drag and gravity are the forces of flight and Mrs. Marquardt's grade 6 students tested this out today with their kites at the park. The wind didn't cooperate but the students ran around to provide the thrust needed to lift the kites up in the sky. What a great way to test out their principles of flight!

Hi Herman Street bikers! We’re asking our older bikers to please check their bikes as we believe there may have been a mix-up. The bike below was left at the school and another rider couldn’t find their bike. If you mistakenly rode the wrong bike home, we will make the switch tomorrow. Thanks for your help! 🚴‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our event, volunteered, and came out to support our 2nd Annual Yard Sale. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing school community and the hard work of Ms. Farr, Mme. Wilson, Ms. Paige, Mrs. Toohill, and Mrs. Amanda, we raised $1,168!
