Making a difference in the lives of those affected by diabetes is a priority for us. Currently, more than 11 million Canadians, or one in three, are living with diabetes or prediabetes. I am that one.

I am once again raising funds for Diabetes Canada that will support much-needed diabetes research, education, services, and advocacy on behalf of those living with the same disease as me.

MY TWIN BROTHERS
Things we’ve heard since the shave...my headset hurts my head now, I look so different, I think I need sunscreen, laughter, can I just shampoo my hair like normal? where’s my hat?
More importantly such great sports, my brothers are amazing, what family support, they must really like you me. I know I couldn’t have done this fundraiser without you both either. Ryan and Kasey, I’m glad you are my brothers and always have my back.
PS it doesn’t work that way boys!

Some highlights from today!

Their hair may be gone but diabetes isn’t, but we’re $6,057.85 closer to a cure! I didn’t just meet my goal I surpassed it! Some have asked if they can still donate, ABSOLUTELY! Thank you all so much for donating to this cause that means so much to me. None of this would have been possible without all of your generous donations and support. I have so much to be thankful for. On June 14 JDRF House ParT1D will take place. This virtual event replaces my walk. However my family and I have committed to still walking 10k social distancing style!
