Today, on International Youth Day, we recognize the ideas, talents, and aspirations of young people around the world.

This year's theme, Different Contexts, Common Aspirations, highlights how young people may come from different backgrounds and experiences, but share many of the same hopes for the future. International Youth Day is an opportunity to celebrate their voices and the positive impact they make in schools, communities, and beyond.

For 50 years, the Perth & District Indoor Pool has been a place where our community has learned to swim, stayed active, made memories, and built lifelong friendships. Now it's time to celebrate this incredible milestone together!

Here's what's happening:
- 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.: Open House (Take a behind-the-scenes look at the pool, meet staff, and explore the facility.)
- 11:00 a.m.-1 p.m.: Anniversary Ceremony & Community BBQ (Help us celebrate 50 years of community, recreation, and making waves! Enjoy a complimentary BBQ while supplies last, generously sponsored by A&B Ford Sales Ltd.)
- 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.: FREE Public Swim (Generously sponsored by Mike Fair Chevrolet Buick GMC.)

Whether you learned to swim here, watched your kids take their first lessons, trained with a local swim club, or simply enjoy a relaxing swim, we'd love for you to join us as we celebrate this special milestone.
