Homestead 1912.

Happy last day of September, it’s been awhile since I have posted anything. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Homesteaders event next spring or summer (hopefully things will have calmed down by then) I would love to see likeminded people come together and learn from each other

By the way, what has everyone been doing to prepare for the coming winter. I’m in the midst of canning, dehydrating and creating more food storage areas, my husband is preparing our property for some spring livestock ( will be looking for a jersey cow)

My first attempt at making mozzarella cheese, pizza made with from scratch crust, home canned pizza sauce and homemade mozzarella cheese and local ground beef @ Tilley Nb

When you realize you have no canned pizza sauce in your pantry but have bags of tomatoes in the freezer, you make your own and can some for later -sufficient

It’s official! The new owners took possession today. Even though we have been on the farm for awhile now, we feel we are starting a chapter in our lives.
