While the planners start planning we invite the best imaginations among us to get our their paints (or pencils or pastels). "Soaring through Summer" needs your pictures. What might it look like to take to the air? How would it feel to fly? Send us your ideas for the festival as pictures.
We'll search through all your pictures for the best festival ideas. We'll use two of the pictures as posters when it come time to publicize the day. The winning pictures will be chosen from two categories Ages 6-9 and 10-14.

The Dusk Café for writers is on pause this week as we welcome two excellent musical acts from Montreal. Come check them out!
The Perkolator is pleased to welcome Montreal indie folk acts Naghmeh & Uñas Escondidas on Sunday July 27th!
Both Uñas Escondidas & Naghmeh have recently showcased at Folk Alliance International, and are thrilled to connect with broader Canadian audiences in the flesh with fresh new music released. Naghm0eh’s single and music video ‘Burn’ was profiled on the CBC and Global Montreal. Uñas Escondidas recently released a live album on all streaming platforms, and were recently featured on a short film titled ‘Walk Me Home’, directed by Kaye Adelaide.
Both acts are led by the power of voice and song, join us for an evening of evocative and multilingual performances!
