District Authority Scholarship

Applications are now open for the PMSS District Authority Scholarships. We have 11 to give away this year! You have 5 years to claim your tuition voucher so you do not need to be attending post secondary next year. Applications are outside Mrs. Redford's office door. There is a firm deadline of Tuesday, May 19th at 3:00pm sharp. You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or landed immigrant to apply. If you have any questions please come down to the counselling office.

District/Authority Scholarships There are District / Authority Scholarships distributed across school districts and independent school authorities that recognize graduating B.C. students for excellence in their chosen area of interest or strength. Winners receive a scholarship voucher to use towards their post-secondary tuition.

Otter Co-op scholarships are designed to support and recognize students who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a commitment to their future goals. We kindly ask for your assistance in sharing this information with students, particularly those who may benefit from financial support to pursue their post-secondary education.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility: Graduating high school students residing in Otter Co-op’s trading area. Applicant’s immediate family (parent/grandparent/guardians) must have been active members of Otter Co-op for more than one year and have purchased in excess of $1,000 during the previous year (which has been reduced from $2,000).
Criteria: Academic performance, community involvement, and/or leadership
Application Deadline: April 30, 2026
Scholarship Award Amount: $1,000

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Otter Co-op is a locally-owned co-operative serving Aldergrove, Surrey, Abbotsford, Delta, Langley, Pitt Meadows, Armstrong, Mission, Chilliwack, Penticton, and West Kelowna.

This event is open to all students in Grades 10-12 who are interested in exploring the programs OC has to offer. It’s also a great opportunity to check out the campus and connect with others.

If you have affiliations with the BCPVPA please apply! If you do not, there are still a few spots that you can fill if you have community involvement and a strong academic history.
