It's still only July but thought I would let everyone know that I have scheduled a Dogsafe Canine First Aid course for Saturday November 7th in Penticton.
Just a heads up if you or anyone you know might be interested in attending a class in the Fall.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Dogsafe Canine First Aid course last week. It was lovely to meet you all and have your enthusiasm in class.
I am planning on offering another class in mid May in Penticton. If you or anyone you know might be interested in attending the last class before Fall. I will have registration details up soon.
Dogsafe Canine First Aid courses are great for anyone that has a pet, is a pet professional or anyone even thinking about getting a pet. Just a quick reminder there is a Dogsafe Canine First Aid course in Penticton coming up in March.
Date: Saturday March 14th
Location: SpareRoomCo, 260 E Okanagan Ave E. Penticton
Time: 9am to 5pm
If you have ever been in a situation and wondered how you would handle an emergency with your pet, this course is for you.
There is no ambulance to call and there is no 24 hour emergency vet in Penticton. Having the knowledge and skills to deal with an accident, injury or illness could make all the difference for a positive outcome.
Lots and lots of topics covered in class including Artificial Respiration and CPR. Each student has the use of their own life size canine CPR manikin with working lungs and pulse as well as a first aid kit to practice bandaging techniques plus 116 page manual "Everything Your Dog Wants You To Know In An Emergency.
A great course for dog owners and dog professionals.
