This week our Rotary Club had the pleasure of hearing from Paula, our Youth Exchange student, as she reflected on her incredible 10-month experience in Penticton.

Paula shared stories of new friendships, school experiences, travel adventures, and the many memories she has made while living in Canada. Her presentation reminded us of the true value of the Rotary Youth Exchange program—building international understanding, lifelong friendships, and cultural connections that span the globe.

It has been a privilege to watch Paula grow in confidence, embrace new experiences, and become a valued member of our community. We are grateful to the host families, club members, and everyone who helped make her exchange year such a success.

Thank you, Paula, for sharing your journey with us. We wish you safe travels home and know that you will always have friends and family here in Penticton. ❤️

THANK YOU!

A huge thank you to all of our Rotary Club volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this year's book sale a success. From sorting and organizing thousands of books to setting up, working sales shifts, and packing everything away at the end, your hard work and commitment made this event possible.

Thank you to our amazing community for supporting the sale and helping make this our most successful book sale to date! Every purchase helps support Rotary projects and programs that make a difference in our community.

And a very special thank you to the Discovery House crew for providing the muscle behind the scenes—moving tables, hauling heavy boxes, and helping wherever needed. Rotary could not put on this book sale without their assistance, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership and hard work.

Together, we made it happen. Thank you! 📚❤️

Our sympathies to Ralph's wife Sharlene Oslund and family. Ralph was a stellar Rotarian, a strong supporter of the Youth Exchange program and a long time member of the Rotary Gourmet fellowship PIGS. He will be missed.
