We hope everyone in our community is safe. As many of you know, the comfort centre at Princess Margaret Secondary School is a hangout spot for those evacuated from their homes. There's food, supplies, showers, charging stations, a gym, and arts & crafts. It's a pet-friendly/family-friendly spot. Today, one of our instructors, Kirby Barber, will be leading a singalong for the little ones in the gym. We'll be there around 2pm. And if we can help in any way, please reach out. So many of our PAMDA family have been affected by the wildfires. Please know we're thinking of you, worried for you, and want to help in any way we can. ❤️

❤️ We’re so proud of our PAMDA instructors and our good friends at The Hub on Martin who are putting their music to work for our community tonight. Twice a month, the Dave Barber Trio, featuring instructors Dave & Kirby Barber, perform their Monday Blues R***e at The Hub and this evening all proceeds are being donated to support wildfire evacuees.

💙 MONDAY BLUES R***E: SUMMERLAND STRONG 💙

Tomorrow night, we’re turning Monday Blues R***e into something a little more meaningful.

Our neighbours in Summerland are facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time, and like so many people in the South Okanagan, we’ve been thinking about the families, friends, businesses and communities who have been affected.

We may not be able to change what’s happening, but we can show up for one another.

So tomorrow night, Dave Barber Trio is generously donating their entire performance fee, and The HUB on Martin will match donations up to $1,000. All monetary donations raised will go to OneSky Community Resources, helping support those impacted by the wildfire and the many people who rely on their community services.

There is NO COVER for Monday Blues R***e, but we’ll be accepting monetary donations at the door — cash or debit. Every contribution, big or small, will be added to the total.

OneSky has been supporting individuals and families across the South Okanagan/Similkameen for 60 years, providing services ranging from childcare and youth and family support to housing, community living and seniors services.
