Happy Emergency Preparedness Week!
If you haven’t already registered for Penticton Alert head over to www.penticton.ca/alerts and register today ✔️

As part of Emergency Preparedness Week, the City will be conducting a test of the Penticton Alert (Voyent Alert) emergency notification system.

Date: May 7, 2026.
Time: 3:00 pm.

This will be a test only. No action is required.

The purpose of this test is to ensure our emergency notification system is working properly and to remind residents how important it is to receive timely information during an emergency. Penticton Alert is used to notify subscribers about critical situations such as severe weather, water issues, evacuations, and other public safety concerns. If you are already signed up for Penticton Alert, you may receive a test notification by phone, text message, email, or the mobile app, depending on your preferences.

Residents who are not yet registered are encouraged to sign up to receive emergency and community notifications. Registration is free and only takes a few minutes. To learn more about Penticton Alert or to subscribe, visit: www.penticton.ca/alerts.

Thank you for helping us keep our community informed and prepared.
