Big changes for our small town; Pense Playschool will be closing down at the end of February 2026.

While we are very sad to come to the end of this chapter, we are so pleased that the youngest members of our community will continue to have access to high quality care and educational programming through the new Pense Daycare Centre, opening April 1, 2026.

We would also like to share that Mrs. Young has been offered a role as Educational Assistant at Pense School. She will continue to support our children through many more years of schooling in this new position.

*PENSE PLAYSCHOOL REGISTRATION WINTER 2026*
Registration Deadline December 26

Pense Playschool is a play-based community-run pre-school for 3 and 4 year olds. Children must be potty-trained to attend.

If you are interested in registering your child for the upcoming school year, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.

Winter Semester (January & February only)
First day of school is January 7
(Follows Prairie Valley School Division Calendar for holidays and breaks)

School Days:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
9:00am to 11:30am at Pense Town Hall

Registration Fees: $200

Pense Playschool relies on fundraising to help offset registration fees.
All families are expected to assist with fundraising efforts.

Complete online registration below. YOUR SPOT IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Payments can be sent via e-transfer to [email protected] (include student’s name in comments) or by pre-arranged cheque drop-off.
Once your child is registered, you will be provided with further information and documentation regarding our school procedures.

Payment plans can be arranged

Pense Playschool relies on fundraising to help offset registration fees.
All families are expected to assist with our annual raffle by selling 1 booklet of tickets, valued at $100.
You will be asked to purchase your $100 booklet during the school year and recuperate that cost by selling your 10 tickets.

Calendars are here and have been delivered to anyone who had pre-ordered and provided their address. They can be picked up and purchased from the Town Office, Wilgours Place, or directly from Hannah Bastien. They will also be for sale during Pense Day!
