Penhold Waskasoo Middle School Parent Council

Penhold Crossing has an upcoming Casino next week and they are in need of at least one more volunteer. This is their biggest fundraising effort in the next few years. Typically around $30,000 is generated from this two day event.

They need to fill a chip runner position on Tuesday August 25th from 11pm - 2am. They also have a spot for backup coverage if someone is unable yo fill the shift they signed up for.

Last day to order school supplies for the fall. Payment is due tonight. Costs already include the fundraising fee associated with the buying, sorting and delivering. Thank you to those who have supported this fundraiser.

For the cost of quality supplies PLUS a $10 fee your PWMS Parent Society will shop, organize and deliver school supplies to the school before the first day of school. Funds raised from this fundraiser will go towards student enrichment and curriculum support.

Back-to-School Supply Fundraiser Do you want the convenience of ordering school supplies without going to the store? Let your PWMS Parent Society do it for you. PWMS Parent Council has organized for the Ice Cream Smiles food truck to be outside our school on the last day of school for students and families to enjoy some celebration treats.

They will be selling ice cream, snow cones and floats. Be sure to stop by and enjoy this yummy treat!

Students will be enjoying a new addition to our playground shortly. We would, once again, like to thank the Town of Penhold for their donation of time and resources to expand our playground and install the posts for our soon to be unveiled Playground Recognition sign.
We would also like to thank United Rentals for donating the use of an auger, Ace Line Locating LTD for donating their services for the secondary line locating and Penhold Building Supplies for their assistance with the supplies needed for this project.

Parent Society is offering a Back-to-School Supply shopping as a fundraiser for our group. Paper order forms will be sent out shortly however an online form is available now and can be found in the comment section below.

Internet Safety Session – New Date Confirmed!

Join us, along with Penhold FCSS, on May 21 from 6:00–8:00 pm.

This session is open to parents and youth in Grade 7 and up. Due to the sensitive nature of the content, youth must attend with a parent or caregiver. Parents are also welcome to attend on their own.
