The Pembroke Public Library would like to extend its very sincere gratitude to Adam Johns (program coordinator at Algonquin College Waterfront Campus), the 2024-2025 Carpentry and Renovation Techniques students, Paul Hammel and the crew from Fifth Line Transport, as well as Troy Purcell, Councillor with the City of Pembroke; all of whom recently came together in an act of community collaboration to construct a beautiful new storage shed for the library.
Huge thanks to you all!

We are pleased to provide opportunities for high school students to join our college learning community. Tyler Elliot is a grade 11 Fellowes High School student enrolled in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship program and is completing level one of our campus carpenter apprenticeship training program. This type of partnership allows high school students to get a head start on their career goals.
