Lighthouse
What it is:
Lighthouse is a free, virtual (telephone‑based) addiction clinic providing medical treatment and short‑term stabilization for people who use substances.
How it works:
Clients connect by phone and are assessed by an interdisciplinary addiction team (addiction medicine physicians, nurses, and social workers). Care is delivered virtually, which improves access for people who face barriers to in‑person care.
Addiction services focus includes:
Same‑day medical treatment for substance use
Short‑term stabilization and withdrawal support
Prescribing and managing medications (including methadone, Suboxone, Kadian)
Support for use of opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, stimulants, ni****ne, and cannabis
Social work support and linkage to community or long‑term care
