💅🎨 EASY ACTIVITY ALERT! 🎨💅

Who knew a nail bar could be such a fun learning activity?! 😍

We gave the kids some paper “hands,” watercolour paints, and let them design their own nail art. They were SO into it! 🌈✨

And while they thought they were just playing nail salon, they were actually working on:

🖐️ Fine motor control
🎨 Colour recognition & mixing
✏️ Pencil/brush grip
👀 Hand-eye coordination
🧠 Creativity & decision-making
💬 Imaginative & pretend play

The best activities are sometimes the simplest ones! ❤️

Set up a little Nail Bar and let them get creative! 💅

Learning can be this much fun! 🐾☀️

I love seeing kids so engaged in what they’re doing! These little learners had so much fun with our Pets in Summer Learning Pack—coloring, painting, tracing, matching and playing while building important preschool skills. 💛

I’ve always believed the best learning happens when children are having fun and completely immersed in the activity. 🥰

These photos remind me of how much time I used to spend keeping our little cooking and baking stations stocked with fun ingredients, flowers, shells, spices and treasures—but seeing what the kids came up with made it completely worth it. ❤️

They’d create, experiment and make dish after dish until the food table was overflowing! Then they’d take a seat and pretend they were somewhere special, celebrating something fun—or simply very hungry kids who had made WAY too much food! 😂🌿✨

After nine years of running my own daycare, I learned something pretty important: when kids love what they’re doing, they’re learning without even realizing it. ❤️

I spent years watching the kids in my care, following their interests, and creating activities that actually got them excited to participate. That’s really where the idea for Daycare Mom began as the curriculum I had purchased previously did not fully do that.

And I have to give a huge little shoutout to Chirp Graphics because those whimsical designs played a big part too! 😂 There’s just something about adorable artwork that makes kids want to jump right in.

These are the kinds of activities I loved using in my own daycare — and now I’m so excited to finally share them with you.

𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗜’𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆! 😂

I’ve been spending so much time behind the scenes learning new skills and giving my Daycare Mom resources a more professional look. It’s been a long journey, but I’m finally seeing it all come together.

After owning my own daycare for 𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, I know how much children love hands-on learning, and that’s exactly what inspired these activities.

I also checked my store stats for the first time since celebrating 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 at Christmas and was so excited to see 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝟰,𝟲𝟵𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 since then! 🎉 Thank you so much for supporting my little business.
