Mini Music Makers

It’s been pretty quiet on the Mini Music page lately. I’ve been working so hard at getting the piano studio Covid ready. But now it is and I am almost ready to get my Mini classes back up and running! With some changes of course.

They will be “mini” classes with only two children per class. I will be masking and the kiddos won’t be sharing instruments during the class. I will make sure everything is clean prior to classes and of course, each family will have to answer a small Covid questionnaire prior to the start of the class.

So excited to get this going again... stay tuned for start dates and times 😃

A musical activity for you and your littles.

Choose a location and get comfy. The parent is going to set the beat, clapping hands or tapping their legs or knocking on the floor. The kids follow your speed. You go slow they go slow. If you speed up they catch up to your speed.
You can do the same activity but with loud and soft too.

This teaches them to listen (and no it won’t make them listen to you when you ask them to do something, lol) and in music, listening is everything 💕

Unfortunately, do to the young ages of the kids that mini music makers caters too, we will wait until the Coronavirus has slowed down before starting our classes.

Classes officially start in one week!!

One of my favourite things to do is make my own worksheets for my students, especially the little ones in my mini classes! What do you like to do for fun?

Aagh! Only four more sleeps, as my kids would put it, until free class #1

I am so excited to see the free classes start to fill up! But they aren’t full yet, and I want to see lots of little kids here exploring their musical creativity! So spread the word, I know there are lots of little ones out there!!
