Our Eagles 🦅 enjoyed a special treat today! Members of the Stephenville Theatre Festival visited our school for a production of “Grumpy & Grimm” written by Laura Caswell.
The production had us laughing, clapping, and helping the actors with ideas & sound effects.
In the afternoon our grade three students participated in their own theatre workshop.

Justin and his dad shared these antique skates that belonged to Justin’s great-great-great grandfather. Made in 1928, the craftsmanship and time that went into creating these skates is truly impressive. Carefully carved from wood, with leather straps used to fasten them onto boots, these skates are a wonderful example of the resourcefulness and skill of the past. Thank you for sharing such a meaningful piece of history and culture with our class!

‼️🚨We have beautiful spaces for outdoor learning, but we need your help protecting our school grounds after hours.‼️🚨
Recently, our outdoor learning spaces have experienced damage and disruption.
To ensure our students have a safe space to learn, please follow these guidelines:
Respect Outdoor Classrooms: Teaching materials should never be moved, rearranged, or damaged.
Protect Our Woods: There is strictly no cutting down of trees or shrubs on school property.

A big thank you to our two wonderful presenters from the Medicine Shoppe
for visiting our Grade 2 and 3 classes on Friday! Students learned all about prescription vs. non-prescription drugs and even got to make their very own blueberry or orange lip balm. One of our presenters actually attended PA as a child, so it was extra special to welcome her back as a pharmacy student!
We would also like to thank Medicine Shoppe for nearly a decade of supporting this experience for our students and for so generously donating their time and all of the materials each year!

Our kinders went on a nature walk today and had the best time exploring the outdoors. We discovered signs of animal life, found some very cool plants and fungi, and learned so much along the way. These little explorers love learning through nature and hands-on discovery!
