Week 9 – Holmstead! 🐐🐔
A BIG thank you to Holmstead, the animals, the land, and all the wonderful memories we are creating this week. It’s already shaping up to be such a memorable experience for the kids!

Today, we explored the goats and chickens and built two amazing forts! 🏕️ The forts definitely came in handy when the rain arrived… but let’s be honest, the kids didn’t mind one bit! They kept playing, adding on to their forts and working hard to make them as waterproof as possible. 🌧️💦 Forest school is just the best! 🌲

Summer is fading into fall... yet the fun and learning can continue.

This week was all about curiosity, adventure, and letting the children lead the way. We explored multiple ponds filled with frogs, snakes, and tadpoles, took long walks through the forest, and discovered new paths and hidden places along the way. 🐍🐸
Our great climbing tree was a favourite as always, giving the children plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves, build confidence, and cheer each other on. 🌳
One of the best parts of Forest School is watching the children lead us somewhere new. A new trail, an interesting sound, or something spotted in the distance can turn into our next adventure. We simply follow their curiosity and see where it takes us!
And to finish the week, we spent Friday at the beach exploring, playing, and enjoying another beautiful day outdoors. 🌊☀️
So many muddy shoes, big discoveries, happy faces, and memories made. 💚

This group just loves exploring new lands, discovering new ponds, finding creatures to learn from, and helping and supporting one another along the way. 💚

What a wonderful couple of days we’ve had! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! ✨
