A new season. A winding path. A little time for yourself.

The autumn Walking the Seasons: Labyrinth Pilgrimage is coming up soon - October 18th, 2026

Join Tanya of .soul at Five Oaks for two hours of seasonal reflection, a walk through the labyrinth at your own pace, time around the campfire, and cedar tea.

What can happen when we make space to hear a story that isn’t our own?

At Weaving Our Stories: Rooted, you’ll hear from women+ bringing different faith traditions, lived experiences, and ways of seeing the world into the circle.

Four voices. Different paths. One shared invitation: to listen, reflect, and discover what connects us.

Along the way, there will be time for conversation, small-group sharing, quiet reflection, and a guided forest bathing experience in the Five Oaks forest.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to arrive curious.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we pause to remember the children who never came home, honour Survivors, and hold space for the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts of residential schools.

Here at Five Oaks, we are grateful to be in relationship with Indigenous community partners and to steward land with a long history as a gathering place for Indigenous peoples.

May today be a reminder that reconciliation is not a single day. It asks us to listen, learn, build relationships and keep showing up with respect, humility and care.

Already missing summer camp? Good news: you don’t have to wait until next summer!

Our first PA Day Camp of the 2026/27 GEDSB school year is coming up October 6, and we’re bringing the outdoor fun back at Five Oaks. 🌿

Kids ages 6–12 can spend the day outside exploring, playing, and getting into all kinds of nature-based adventures.

Some things are worth bringing back around.

And perhaps there’s something fitting about that when the path itself always brings you back around.

We’re delighted to welcome Walking the Seasons: Labyrinth Pilgrimage back to Five Oaks for another year, with Tanya of Wildscape Soul guiding the journey.

For those who walked the labyrinth with us last year, you already know there’s something special about slowing your pace, stepping onto the path and seeing what unfolds.

For those who missed it, or those who are discovering it for the first time, this is your invitation to begin.

A labyrinth is not a maze. There are no wrong turns and no dead ends. It is one winding path that leads inward to the centre and, eventually, back out again.

Much like the seasons themselves, the path asks us to release, receive, return and remember.

Four times a year, we’ll gather at Five Oaks to honour the season through reflection, a campfire, a labyrinth walk at your own pace, and a closing moment of connection over cedar tea. 🌲

There’s still time to make space for something meaningful this fall. 🌿

If you’ve been thinking about joining us for Rooted in Hope, this is your last chance to register.

From September 28–30, come to Five Oaks Centre for three days of thoughtful conversation, spiritual reflection, community, and renewal. Led by Ruth Harvey, this retreat will invite us to look honestly at the fractures in our world while exploring a hope that is deeper than optimism, a hope that can shape how we live, connect, and move forward together.

There will be time to listen, learn, reflect, and simply be together in the peaceful setting of Five Oaks.
