**COVID-19 UPDATE**

We just received notification about ONE new confirmed case of COVID-19 in PS #3 (Ms. Melissa/Ms. Victoria.) The person attended the service from February 21-25.

There are a total of 3 cases in PS #3 (downstairs)
2 Cases in AS #7 (downstairs)
2 Cases in PS #3 (downstairs)
1 Case in PS #2 (upstairs)
10 Cases in PS #1 (upstairs)

Parents of the children in PS #3 have been notify.

Attention Parents of children in After-School #7 (Naomi/Stephanie)

We currently have two staff that have tested positive for covid-19. Due to isolation requirements and staffing shortages, we will have to close Before & After-School #7 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If your child attended After-school #6 (Glen/Liz) or After-school #7 (Naomi/Stephanie) on February 25, they are considered close contact and will be required to show proof of a negative rapid test to return to childcare as we are a high-risk facility.

We have to report one new confirm case of Covid-19 in PS #3. Any child who attended Ms. Melissa/Ms. Victoria's room between February 21-23 are considered close contact. There are a total of:

10 cases in PS #1 (Ms. Karen/Ms. Sarah)
1 case in PS #2 (Ms. Eva/Ms. Heather)
2 cases in PS #3 (Ms. Melissa/ Ms. Victoria)
1 case in Afterschool #7 (Ms. Naomi/Ms. Stephanie)

TODDLER/PRESCHOOL PARENTS: As per current guidance, if your child is exposed to COVID-19 in our child care service or outside their home, and has NO symptoms, they can continue to attend child care but should isolate as much as possible outside of child care for 10 days. They are not required to have a PCR test or rapid test. If they were exposed to COVID-19 in their home, they must isolate as per guidelines and complete testing, regardless of whether they have symptoms. Any child that has symptoms, but is not a close contact of a case, should stay home and use two rapid tests taken 72 hours apart, as per current guidance. If both are negative, they can return to child care once symptoms are improving and they have no fever for 24 hours.
