Congratulations to our talented apprentices who attended the Skills Canada National Competition 2026 in Toronto last month! We are incredibly proud to celebrate our standout competitors from the Carpenter Millwright College (CMC) in Paradise, NL. and CNA Brandon Clarke (Carpenter Apprentice) advanced from Provincial Gold to showcase incredible precision and dedication on the national stage! Jamie Coombs (CMC Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Apprentice): Brought home the National Bronze Medal for CMC. Shoutout to Red Seal Carpentry Instructor Amos Pynn, who served as a competition judge and supported the future of skilled trades.

With the spring/summer season starting up, we know many members are heading back to site and schedules can change quickly.

If you’re unable to attend a course you’re registered for, please let us know as soon as possible by phone or email. Giving advance notice helps open spots for other members and keeps training running smoothly for everyone.

Please be advised that due to low enrollment, all previously scheduled rigging courses after May 30th have been cancelled until fall 2026.
If you are interested in taking the course in the future, you are still welcome to contact our office and request to be added to the waitlist. We will continue keeping a running list of interested participants, and once there is sufficient demand to hold a class, members will be contacted directly to arrange booking.
