Linda Lowe Daycare Child centered early learning and care in the heart of Pakenham It is a place where children can develop their own potential at their own pace.

Back in 1976, Linda Lowe recognized the need for quality child care in Pakenham and began looking after several children in her home. The warmth and stability of Linda’s child care service quickly established itself, as well as the demand to meet the ever increasing daycare needs of parents in and around this community. By 1983 Linda’s child care services had evolved into a provincially-chartered,

non profit corporation, owned by the parent members, directed by Linda Lowe and licensed under the Ontario Day Nurseries’ Act. Between 1983 and 1989, it expanded from its previous enrollment of 24 children to a new capacity of 79 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. Our current licence states our daily capacity is 79 children at the daycare and 75 children off site at the School Age Club. The Linda Lowe Daycare Centre continues to grow and to provide a stimulating program for our children in a happy, safe environment. For all members, it is our “home away from home”.

Great news! Our Recreational Soccer Program (offered in Pakenham) is running this summer!

This program focuses on introducing kids to soccer and team sports. Our primary focus is having fun and promoting fitness as a lifestyle.

Registration:

Date: Wednesday April 27, 2022

Location: Stewart Community Centre – (Pakenham arena)

Time: 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m

Ages: 4-12 years

Cost : $60.00/child

$140.00/family

Season will run Monday’s 6:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m from May 30th – July 25th 2022.

Season ending party on Saturday August 6h at 10:30 a.m

Pakenham Community Early Learning Centre (formerly Linda Lowe Daycare) is currently accepting resumes for up to 4 full-time Registered Early Childhood Educators for the daycare, working with children from Kindergarten to school age. Relevant Child and Youth Worker and Recreational diplomas will also be considered.
