It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Her Place.
To those who showed up, supported us, attended events, and believed in the vision — thank you. Your encouragement meant more than you know.
Building something new in a small town takes courage, vulnerability, and community support. Local businesses and entrepreneurs truly rely on that support to survive and grow.
If there’s one thing we hope this chapter reminds us all of, it’s how important it is to champion the people who step forward to create something for our communities. It’s never easy to put yourself out there — and even harder to close the doors on a dream.
We are grateful for the experience, the lessons, and the connections we made along the way. 🤍
All furniture and treasures must go before Friday! Everything will be posted on marketplace with pricing so take a look there and plan to come out Friday and Saturday to view and pickup!

🎨 Artist Feature at Her Place 🎨
We are so excited to welcome local artist Amy Brook into the space! Amy’s work is full of movement, colour, and emotion — the kind of art that instantly adds life and story to a room.
Her pieces are now on display at Her Place and available for purchase, making this a perfect opportunity to support a local artist while bringing something truly unique into your home or workspace.
If you love expressive, soulful art inspired by travel, growth, and lived experience, you’ll want to come see these pieces in person. Stop by, take your time, and let her work speak to you ✨
“My name is Amy Brook and I am 25 years old.
My love of painting and art really took off in high school. I find it to be such a wonderful form of expression and I really enjoy that I am creating something that will last.
I lean towards abstract styles and lively colours, but I also enjoy attempting pieces outside my comfort zone.
One of the ways I enjoy moving outside my comfort zone is landscapes. I recently returned from living in Ireland and travelling in Europe where I captured so many beautiful moments and landscapes in photos. Switzerland, Portugal, and Austria all had such mesmerizing landscapes and different architecture it was amazing!
I’m hoping to maybe go to Greece or possibly the Netherlands next but I’ll see where the universe decides to send me.
I find that travelling and finding new life experiences helps to foster the best inspiration and growth for me.”

✨Member Introduction + Warm Welcome ✨

We are so excited to officially welcome Ashley & Stathis of Your Farmer’s Wife to Her Place! This duo brings such a beautiful blend of culture, heart, and hard work into our space, and we already know their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit are going to add something really special to our community. From small-batch food products to big ideas rooted in tradition, we’re thrilled to have them creating, collaborating, and growing alongside us. Please help us give them a big Her Place welcome 💛
Kalimera, everyone! We are Ashley & Stathis, farmers from opposite ends of the world that met in the middle and started a life together. Stathis is a first gen olive farmer from Greece and Ashley is a fifth gen Canadian grain farmer, learning each other’s ways, cultures, and industries.
We started “Your Farmer’s Wife” as a cheeky way to acknowledge the women who “do it all” and add some Mediterranean Soul to their Prairie Roots.
Working out of a licensed kitchen in Estevan, SK, we make a variety of tasty and small batch pantry products, cater events with our Mediterranean menu, and import Stathis’ olive oil as well as other Greek products directly from Greece!
Most importantly, we are taking on the “stick-to-it-ed-ness” and spirit of the two most famous workers on the plant. The Canadian farmer, and the Greek Yia Yia. Creating something really special in the process in Saskatchewan, the heart of the prairies.
You can order fresh or frozen food for pickup and delivery in Estevan and surrounding areas at yourfarmerswife.ca.
