Our next Alexandra Accessible Playground Project Meeting is coming up, and everyone is welcome to join us.

Whether you've been involved since day one, have volunteered at a fundraiser, are curious about the project, or simply want to see how things are progressing, we'd love to have you there. You do not need to have direct affiliation with the school to be able to help us make this dream a reality.

What makes a playground accessible?
For many people, the first thought is a wheelchair ramp. But accessibility is so much more than that.

Over the next several weeks, we're taking you on a journey through the many features that make an inclusive playground possible and more importantly, why they matter.

From rubber surfacing and wide pathways to quiet spaces, sensory play, inclusive swings, and so much more, we'll explore how thoughtful design helps create a place where more children can play, learn, grow, and build friendships together.

Whether you're a parent, a grandparent, an educator, a student, or simply someone who believes every child deserves the opportunity to play, we hope you'll join us as we build awareness about accessible playgrounds and why they matter.

This is about more than replacing an aging playground for us.
It's about creating opportunities.
It's about belonging.
It's about community.

Help create a community art masterpiece that will be proudly displayed for everyone to enjoy.

Get ready for some BIG fun! Create your own bubble wand, then let Kim show you how to make the most SUPER bubbles you've ever seen!

Enjoy a hands-on family-friendly skincare experience and discover products everyone can enjoy.

You've earned a treat! Finish your adventure with a one-day-only special—a delicious sweet strudel paired with a scoop of ice cream. 🍦
