O.S.C.V.I.

With today being the last day of school for many, I'm jumping ahead in the timeline a little to our end of 2011 fun day. School used to be so much more sane when there was some time at the end of year to do these types of things. When I was a high school student, we were often done classes near the first of June. Not any more as the powers that be have decided we can't sacrifice learning to fun and games. Which tells me they have little understanding of how people learn best.

A couple serious snow day photos and some end of year shots from 2009. Apparently, I wasn't shooting much at school these years. Might have been because of my frustration with the school board or just because I was busier at home.

2009 Bluewater Boys' Basketball finals. It looks like we won both this year.

Sorry for the poor colour and focus. Clearly, I was still figuring out how to take photos in our gym.

Jumping ahead on the timeline today as I just noticed that it has been very close to 10 years since the students and staff of the O.S.C.V.I. tried to save our school. Thank You for the attempt.

Sorry for not posting any photos for a while; I was out of the country for a little over a month.

Here are the last of the 2007/2008 school year photos I have that are all staff related - from a retirement party at Stone Tree, our annual end of year party at Stew Brown's and our final golf outing. We seem to be in the midst of losing the bulk of our English department at this time.
